Only edition. Rare antisemitic pamphlet, published pseudonymously by a certain “Philaletes”. According to the many references to Saxony in the text, it could be written by the Saxonian Julius Hundeiker (1784–1854) who is known to have published under this pseudonym (cf. Eymer, Pseudonymen-Lexikon, 154). The author states that, from the “practical” point of view, it is too eary for an emancipation of the Jews, since they still effect much materialistic and moral inconveniance on christian people. – Weller, Lexicon Pseudonymorum, 430.
