One of 10 copies of the second tirage with the two extra suites on Japan and in black and white of a total limited edition of 150. Lavishly illustrated edition of Giraudoux’ (1882–1944) literary primeur (first published 1909), a collection of short novels reflecting French liver and characters in the province – and maybe also referring to Blaise Pascal’s collected polemic letters published under the same title in 1656/57.
