De Luxe edition of de Vigny’s collected novels, his chef-d’euvre, first published in 1835. One of 15 numbered copies on Japon ancien (no. 9) after 2 copies on Whatman, with the two orig. drawings and the extra double suite of the engravings on Japan and China paper, all signed by Clément Bellenger (total limited edition: 350). With the invitations to the inauguration of the exhibitions of the original drawings and the engravings at the „Galerie des Editions d’Art“ in June/July 1897 and January/February 1898, both mounted on a single sheet between text and extra suite.
