One of 20 artist copies with Roman numbers on „japon à la forme“ with an extra suite of the 25 orig. etchings including remarks, printed beyond the ordinary limited edition of 200 copies. Suares’ (1868–1948) novel, which plays at the Eméraude coast in Bretagne, was first published in 1914, illustrated by Cottet, Dauchez, and Simon .
