Extensive album of photographs, taken and published by Francis Frith (1822–1898), founder of the biggest company for photographs and postcards of his time in Great Britain. The present album contains views of historical monuments and landscapes, mainly in Great Britain (111), and many from alpine regions in Switzerland, Italy, and France. Formerly from the estate of William Randolf Innes Hopkins with his heraldic bookplate „Grey Towers Library“ on inner front board. – Spine broken, boards loose.
