Impressive album showing sites along the Bosporus from Constantinople to the Black Sea as well as traditional scenes and costumes. The two panoramas (each composed of four lithographs and 166 cm resp. 170 cm long) show the Bosporus from Constantinople to Roumeli-Hissari and from Roumeli-Hissari to the Black Sea, both taken from the Asian shore. The plates are the following: Scutari, pointe du Sérail, Constantinople et Galata – Cimetière Turc – Barque du Sultan – Hissari d’Europe et d’Asie – Palais du Sultan – Le marchand des bonbons à Constantinople – Prairie de Buyuk-Déré – Bachi-Bouzouks – Constantinople, vue de la Corne d’Or – [Araba de Constantinople – Derwisches Tourneurs] – Vue générale de Smyrne – [Ecrivain et femme turcs – Bachi Bouzouks].
