One of 290 numbered copies on vergé pur chiffon of a total limited edition of 335. With ms. presentation by the Belgian illustrator Nicolas Eekman (1889–1973) to Paul Schlesinger, „éminent bibliophile, particulièrement sensible aux oeuvres d’art“ en adressant „le témoignage de ma plus vive sympathie“, dated June 1960. Eekman’s illustrations accompany the text of his compatriot Charles de Coster (1827–1879) in a very appropriate way. – Clean copy in a handsome artistic binding. – Best.-Nr. 25158
