Unusual Lucca edition of a collection containing Aesopian fables. Others authors or editors collected here are Laurentius Valla, Guglielmus Gudanus, Hadrianus Barlandus, Guglielmus Hermanus, Rimicius, Angelus Politianus, Petrus Crinitus, Plinius Secundus, and Aulus Gellius. Editions bringing together this group of authors were published since the 16th century. We couldn’t trace the present edition in any pertinent bibliography. – Title leaf with two repaired tears.
