Schindel” with its heraldic library stamp on title verso and with ms. owner’s entry “August Schindel”. August von Schindel (1776–1830) was a translator of Torquato Tasso and the author of a 3 vols. dictionary “Die deutschen Schriftstellerinnen des 19. Jahrhunderts” (1823-25). Hie lived at Schönbrunn castle near Görlitz. – Slightly browned. Else a nice copy in a fine binding. – Best.-Nr. 7321
