One of 600 copies, signed and numbered by the brazilian-portuguese painter Thomaz „Tom“ de Mello (1906–1990) in the colophon. The artist selected 11 cantos of the famous portuguese poem „Os Lusiadas“ by Luís Vaz de Camões (c.1524/5–1580), which was first printed in 1572, and combined them with black and white illustrations. With a ms. dedication of the artist on title page „A friendly souvenir to Manfred Malzacher from Th. de Mello (Tom) 73.“ – Wrappers with some foxing, else clean copy. – Best.-Nr. 26053
