This most important and impressive livre d’artiste by Georges Braque (1882–1963) was published in 200 + 50 copies. It was his third illustration of texts by Pierre Reverdy (1889–1960) after „Une aventure méthodique“ (1949) and „Cercle doré“ (1953).
