Edition originale. One of 110 numbered copies on Arches paper of a total edition of 135. Signed in the colophon by André Derain. A beautiful and rare post-war book, printed at the expense of Derain, Salmon and Apollinaire by Bernouard who had been in the same regiment as Dalize. In some copies the label of the Galerie Simon has been pasted in, so probably Henry Kahnweiler distributed this publication after the opening of his gallery in 1920. – Carteret IV, 128; Monod 3373. – Covers somewhat browned.
